Krishna,

I've posted an article about the Vodane pug too...you can check it out here

It is sad that animals in captivity have to undergo untold cruelty...at least in India...I am quite convinced...that most animals used for them movies are ill-treated...

Whenever I see a bunch of heartless revellers enjoyin their rides on horse carts at the beach...moi blood boils...

I do my bit...by not riding any animal...dissuading my friends if they feel the urge to do so...

NK Ravi
thanks for visiting and your comment and concern.

At the outset I agree with you that the pug might not have subjected to such a harsh cruelty-by making it to run fjust few yards! Fine I just wanted to take this opportunity to make ourselves aware of other forms of cruelty meted out to animals in our civilised society!

thanks!

KB,

I appreciate your concern and your point.

I wonder the pug in vodophone was subjected to cruelty - like we have stunt scenes involving highly paid actors enacting with the help of technology the dog might have run a few meters in the shoot and they can make it look like a few kilometers on screen.

I feel domestic pets kept in small flat rooms by the owners and animals in zoo in captivated condition for the amusement of on lookers  are subject to equal cruelty if not more.

Ravi.
