I pray for
Neither more knowledge
Nor more wisdom
I pray neither more power to my
Arm
Nor more might to my
sword
I pray neither more creativity
To my pen!
Nor divinity to my
soul
As all such virtues you lord
Already imparted on to me
By virtue of being your devote child
I only end up to pray
To imbibe the will power
To proceed further!
I only end up to pray
To imbibe that buoyancy
To rock the world further!
As I lost the same off late
Under the evils of Democracy!
In the depth of the confluence of
Decadent and debauched souls!
Under the influence of currency and crooked
Money power!
Salvage my lord!
As my self-conviction is half way drown
In the quick sand
Reach my hand to lift my ducked morale
Reach my heart to imbibe the lost will power!

Jitendra!
First of all, my prayer was aimed at seeking will power to change the soceity not for my self betterment. Hence you have erred in understanding it as to "my own severe limitations to re-order the world to MY liking" na!
My that particular line was not meant to side step God! Ha! who are we after all capable of side stepping GOD?? Never! Yes rocking the world was GOD's amusement! and what I mean rcoking the world, to revamp it for good eliminating evils from the society.
"sagging morale" was my low self-confidence to start my social-movement to change the society" as corruption and money power was overwhelming...
hence I was praying meaning no MORE wisdom, no MORE power... i require but just that self confidence..!

Hullo KB
"I pray forNeither more knowledge Nor more wisdom"
But then how do you expect God to answer your prayer?
I thought rocking the world was God's business, or, pleasure, or, both. Are you asking Him to side step? The sagging morale that you speak of could be your anger wearing out, your hesitant adjustment to the reality, your partial realisation of your own severe limitations to reorder the world to your liking. Could it not be God given wisdom dawning?
Cheers

Krishnabaalu garu,
Nice poem.
If you have the will power, meeru saadhincha lenidi emi undadu.
Hence I like these verses.
I only end up to pray
To imbibe the will power
To proceed further!
